Kelly Honzel is a long time member of the Prairie Fire Theatre Board of Directors. She has been associated with the board since 2011. Kelly has a deep appreciation for opera and musical theatre. She is particularly proud of the opera education program that is presented to approximately 10,000 elementary school students throughout central Illinois each year. Kelly is committed to enriching the community through the support and promotion of local and nationally recognized artists who perform in varied offerings presented by Prairie Fire Theatre each season.
Kelly is currently employed as an occupational therapist for McLean County Unit 5 Schools and is a licensed professional counselor. She lives in Bloomington with her husband Jim. They are parents of 2 adult children who share a love of music.
